Floor Supervisors – San Francisco
Summary
House of Air is looking for three (3) Floor Supervisor candidates with 1-3 years of Supervisor experience in a high-energy / high volume recreation or family entertainment facility to work at House of Air indoor trampoline park, located on beautiful Crissy Field. If you love the idea of leading and directing a team in a fun and dynamic environment and have the ability to inspire staff and execute across multiple functional areas then we would like to meet you. Our Floor Supervisors work directly with the General Manager of the park and are an integral part of our business success.

Weekend coverage is required as these are our busiest days.
COMPENSATION
- $18.45 / hour Floor Supervisor shifts, part-time or full-time roles available, depending on availability.
- $16.45 / hour for Floor Staff shifts. Sometimes, Floor Staff shifts are given to Supervisors in order to provide them with a full-time position.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Experience hiring, training, and managing staff is a requirement
- Experience scheduling breaks, delegating responsibilities, and providing upper management with feedback on staff performance is required
- Excellent communication skills
- High energy level and a positive attitude
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to relate to customer concerns
- Ability to remain calm and think on your feet
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects
- Ability to follow procedures and direction
- Proficient reading and writing skills
- Computer savvy individuals are encouraged to apply
- Able to provide weekend management coverage is required
- Experience monitoring safety in an athletic environment is a plus
- Experience in action sports, recreation, gymnastics, or fitness is a plus
- Previous or current CPR and first aid certification is a plus
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Responsibilities
Management
- Supervise, organize, and delegate floor staff daily duties
- Experience executing intensive, standards-based education to staff
- Communicate clearly and frequently to serve as liaison between management and floor staff
- Enforce and ensure staff is adhering to House of Air policies and procedures
- Coach and develop other employees’ growth at House of Air
- Assist with employee performance reviews
- Manage and run staff training sessions
- Uphold, maintain, and constantly coach staff on the House of Air Standards, Mission, and Values
Scheduling
- Oversee any changes to the shift schedule and facilitate coverage within the team to ensure that the park is properly staffed
- Plan daily break rotation to ensure that all team members take required breaks without leaving any gaps in floor service
- Manage day-to-day schedule to match staffing need, reducing headcount when required
- Execute all other scheduling/staffing changes as required by management
Customer Service
- Engage customers in a friendly and well-informed manner about the park
- Up-sell House of Air products and services to park guests
- Empathetically address customer concerns while firmly and consistently applying House of Air policies
- Serve as source of energy and passion to the rest of the floor staff, inspiring team-wide standards of excellent customer service
Operations
- Complete all other supervisory and floor staff duties, as assigned
- Open and close the facility and take ownership of park cleanliness and operations
- Be responsible for all aspects of safety and risk management within the park
- Work in all departments, including front desk, cafe, facilities, reservations, and trampoline courts / activity attractions, as needed
- Supervise cash register operations and reconcile cash drawers
- Learn facilities maintenance and provide assistance to the facilities maintenance team, as needed
- Provide assistance with parties, corporate events, and park cleanup
- Complete office and other park tasks, as assigned
- Responsible for employee performance tracking and discipline
- Responsible for paper waiver tracking and staff discipline on waiver discrepancies
- Responsible for upkeep of staff lounge
- Oversee cash handling procedures and over/under end-of-day reporting. Investigate any discrepancies.
- Manage physical inventory count
